Annoying Telemarketers

GOOD NEWS…FTC (Federal Trade Commission set up the new book of rules that put the breaks on telemarketers bugging consumers at all hours of the day and night. No longer will fraudulent telemarketers get away with jingling you after 9pm, before 8-am, or calling you when you have listed your phone number in the brilliantly created "DO NOT CALL registry."

Pest control at your service:
FTC setup a "pest control" unit with armed service members prepared to lock up any telemarketer breaking the TSR laws. FTC has launched the DO NOT Call National registry that gives consumers in America "a choice.' Imagine that. WE now have choices.

The polls are reaching its peak:
Harris Interactive Polls reported that 92% of the citizens that registered at the DO Not call registry danced across the floor when they found fewer telemarketers bugging them. Another 78% hit the floor when they found fewer telemarketers bugging them. Some of this percentage claimed they were "bug free." The rest of this percentage is meeting for happy hour, to cheer on the relief they've received by registering at the do not call registry.

Here is some more good news: IF telemarketers bug you after you post your name in the DO NOT call me list, thus you can file a complaint, since these telemarketers have violated the TSR laws.

Here are some brilliant recommendations from FTC:
-Verify you are listed in the DO NOT Call list: www.donotcall.gov or call 1-888-382-1222 or TTY 1-866-290-4236.
