Rapid Rescore

Rapid rescore was created in late 1990's by the credit bureaus in response to mortgage lenders' frustration over slow and ineffective credit bureau disputing process that consumer had to go through.

It is an expedited service provided by the bureaus to resellers and mortgage lenders that allows the lender to get an applicant's credit file re-scored almost immediately after the applicant provides documentation of a corrective update to their credit file from a data furnisher with whom, they have a disputed item.

The cost of this service ranges from $35-$70 per tradeline fro each bureau.
