This can happen due to various reasons related
to system, flaws and discrepancies and multiple subscriber
numbers used by data furnishers. A bureau will sometimes
remove an item in dispute temporarily and reinsert the item if
it is verified by the creditor.
By law, they have to notify
you within 5 days of doing so. Sometimes a bureau will remove
an item, but the creditor will not update its routine monthly
electronics updates, causing the item to be re-submitted due
to negligence.
